This works with all weapons. When you reload,
wait until the magazine, rocket, or whatever is put in and as soon as it is, press y twice as fast as you can. Your weapon
should be fully loaded and ready to fire, if you watch some montages, you will see them doing it.
Triple Wielding
First Go to a level that you can get three
pistols on, such as outskirts. Go pick up a pistol. Then switch to your second weapon and pick up dual weapon, such as two
smg's. Go to another pistol and press x to pick it up. Now you have a pistol in you secondary and first slots. Now you can
go pick up a third pistol and set it to your left hand(Press Y to do this). You can get up to 144 AMMO! with three 96 ammo
with the two and just 49 with one. (It is 33% more effective to use this method. Try it in Midship with all the plasma rifles
or needlers. It is a pretty good combo)
Overload Objects on Maps
It is possible to overload certain objects in many
of the Halo 2 Multiplayer Maps. By overloading I mean removing it from the map altogether. You can overload most anything
that is not actually connected to the map itself. Please note that it seems that you will need at least 8 others for this
to work. The easiest example is in Zanzibar. There is a bridge that you can knock down to easily get to the sword on the large
spinning wheel. Knock the bridge down and run to the end where it is squared off. You and all your teammates should bunch
up as close as possible in the corner and look straight down at your feet. Make sure everyone is looking down and the bridge
should overload and disappear. It will be gone for the remainder of the game/round. You can also use this overloading glitch
on Midship(on the floating platform) and Foundation(there are two places in Foundation...the hanging construction beam and
the hanging platform right next to the beam....however you may need around 12 others to overload that platform). These are
the ones I have seen myself but there may be others in other maps so good luck hunting!!
Changing Split Screen Type
The multiplayer split screen type is determined by the video
settings on the Xbox dashboard. For Horizontal split screen, the Xbox must be in fullscreen mode. For Vertical split screen,
the Xbox must be in widescreen mode.
Grabbing Weapons through walls
In many maps, you can grab weapons through the wall. In Ivory
Tower, you can grab the sniper rifle from the platform below, just jump and hold X. In Burial Mounds, go under were the rocket
launcher spawns and hold x and jump, if you do it in the right spot, you should grab it.
Faster Shotgun reload
When you are about to reload your shotgun
hold down R and hit X. Then let go of X and you shotgun will be in the firing position but it will still be reloading. You
must have more than 1 bullet shot to do this glitch.
Convertible Wraith: Start a team game with at least 4 people (the more people you
have the harder they are to control)). 2. Have everybody find at least 1 sticky gernade 3. Have everybody press right on their
D-Pad to find who the host is. 4. Everybody has to throw a gernade on the Wraith and the host has to quit BEFORE they explode
(This takes some practice, it helps if the host starts the quit process before evrybody throws their gernades) 5. When you
come back from the blue screen you can reinvite the host and you will find the Wraith has it's top blown off, but you can
still get on it and drive it.
Stopping the Plasma Shot anyone who has played on xbox live knows that the charged up plasma pistol is one of the most devastating
weapons in the game due to the fact that it takes down the shield completely. well i have seen a way that allows a person
to block the plasma pistol blast. u dual wield guns and when the blast nears, u push B and u will melee and drop the dual
weapon and block it. it is sort of hard to explain but i have a video that goes with it. [Stopping the Plasma Shot]
There is a pretty need way to hold the sword as if it was a rifle. First you need host and two plasma
pistols. Fully charge them and run over a bomb,flag,oddball,ect and hold the X button while still hold L trigger and R trigger.
KABOOM now your hold a sword that looks like its in battle rifle position. ill try to get pictures later
Hijack and kill them all
You have to be host. Push L+X at the same time and it will throw a nade and board the car. The driver
